About Me

Xintao Huan is an Assistant Professor at the School of Cyberspace Science and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology, China. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and electronics from the University of Liverpool, UK, in 2021, and the B.Sc. degree and the M.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany, in 2013 and 2017. He received the stipend of “Stipendium für hervorragende Leistungen des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen” for his study at University of Duisburg-Essen. He worked as a research assistant at Prof.Marrón’s Networked Embedded Systems (NES) Group of University of Duisburg-Essen from 2012 to 2016. He is a recipient of the Beijing Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program.

His major reserach work centers around time synchronization & network security of Internet-of-Things low-power wireless networks such as wireless sensor network and LoRa; he also investigates wireless sensing based on artificial intelligence.

He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Journal and a Guest Editor of Electronics. He serves as a Session Chair / TPC member for international conferences including ICC’23,24, GC’23, ISAS’23 and VTC’22,23. He also serves as a reviewer for top journals including IEEE TCOM, TWC, TVT, IOTJ, SJ, etc., more please find on publons.
